St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mass Schedule

St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish - St. Joseph, located in Chester, Connecticut, is a Catholic parish established from the merger of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Essex and St. Joseph’s Parish on December 3, 2018, under the guidance of Most Rev. Michael R. Cote, Bishop of Norwich. The parish serves over 700 families and operates from two worship sites, continuing a legacy that began when Reverend John Brady organized the first Catholic Mass in Chester in 1851. The present church building, completed in 1891, has undergone various enhancements, notably its expansion in 1929 under Father Francis Kuster to accommodate the growing congregation.
